The best time to visit Luon Cave in particular and Ha Long Bay in general is from April to June. This is the start of the summer season, with warm Ha Long weather and calm seas.

4.2. How to get there

In order to reach Luon Cave, you will first need to get to Bai Chay Tourist Wharf. From the city center of Ha Long, travel along National Road 18 to the wharf, which takes about 10 minutes. Then, you can embark on a boat tour to Luon Cave. If you want to enjoy all-inclusive convenience, you can join a tour to explore Ha Long Bay (Route 2), which includes a stop near Luon Cave.

4.3. How much does it cost to visit Luon Cave?

The ticket price for the above-mentioned Route 2 (which will go to Luon Cave, Soi Sim Beach, Ti Top Island, Sung Sot Cave, etc.) is 290,000 VND. Note that this tour only stops near the cave. To proceed, you will need an additional fee of 30,000 VND to rent a kayak and paddle to the cave.
