On March 8, 2026, Vinpearl Golf Léman officially welcomed golfers to experience the newly opened South 9, marking the introduction of a fresh addition to the course. The new layout is expected to bring a distinctive character to the venue while offering an eagerly anticipated new challenge for the golfing community in southern Vietnam.
While the North Course has long been known for its thick, demanding rough that requires careful shot control, the South Course presents a completely different design character. A defining feature of the layout is a network of natural waste bunkers stretching along the fairways and surrounding the greens, creating rugged sandy terrain where even a slightly misdirected tee shot can quickly find trouble.

Unlike traditional bunkers, waste bunkers function as natural hazards, demanding greater control from golfers both technically and strategically. Once the ball finds its way into these areas, every shot becomes a test of precision, touch, and the ability to manage difficult lies on uneven sandy terrain.

In addition, the course’s signature water features and strategic layout remain present throughout the holes, requiring golfers to carefully consider each decision from tee to green and delivering rounds that are both challenging and engaging.
The launch of the 9 holes of the South Course not only brings a fresh dimension to Vinpearl Golf Léman, but also opens a new chapter of discovery for golfers who appreciate distinctive challenges on the course.
The remaining nine holes of the South Course are currently in the final stages of development and are expected to open later in 2026, ultimately delivering a complete 36-hole golf experience for golfers at Vinpearl Golf Léman.
