The lake was created when the water level was raised to build Tuyen Quang Hydroelectric Plant, where the Gam River and Nang River meet. Covering over 8,000 hectares, it is surrounded by 99 stunning mountains, each with a unique shape. The scenery looks like a giant ink painting, with green forests, blue water, and misty peaks that change with the seasons.

Besides its significance in generating electricity, Na Hang Lake is a must-see attraction in Tuyen Quang. It is beautiful year-round, with autumn being especially magical. In autumn, the lake turns a soft jade-green, and mist floats gently over the water and mountains. It is a perfect place to escape the bustle and enjoy the peacefulness of nature.
