The project is developed as a 19-hole links-style golf course and designed by Kyle Phillips – one of the world’s leading golf course architects. His name is closely associated with many highly ranked courses on prestigious global golf rankings, including California Golf Club of San Francisco (USA) – Top 36, Kingsbarns (Scotland) – Top 43, South Cape Owners Club (South Korea) – Top 63, and Yas Links (Abu Dhabi, UAE) – ranked among the World Top 100 Golf Courses.

Kyle Phillips shaped the course layout directly from Bãi Tre’s uniquely dramatic coastal cliff terrain. The routing of the holes follows the natural variations in elevation and prevailing winds, requiring players to constantly read and respond to environmental conditions, adjusting strategy with every shot. As a result, the Bãi Tre experience is not merely a round of golf, but a journey of challenge and discovery, where nature defines both strategy and emotion.
The project’s most iconic feature lies in the back nine, set atop the Top Cliff terrain, where fairways trace the high coastal ridges and open up to expansive ocean vistas. This is the first golf course in Vietnam to be designed on coastal cliffside terrain, delivering a truly distinctive experience both visually and strategically, where every shot is shaped by sea winds, elevation changes, and the boundless openness of the ocean.
