2. When was Tran Phu Bridge Nha Trang built?

Previously, people who wanted to travel from the southern area to the northern one of Nha Trang had to take the two bridges in Bong Hamlet, which was time-consuming and inconvenient. Moreover, those two bridges are quite narrow, so there were often traffic jams and accidents there.

Acknowledging these problems, the People's Committee of Nha Trang City decided to build Tran Phu Bridge in 1999 to facilitate the locals’ daily travel and enhance tourism development. After nearly three years of construction, Tran Phu Bridge was put into use, making traffic flow on both sides of Cai River quicker and easier.

The bridge has also become a beautiful symbol of the magnificent coastal city of Nha Trang, making the city more stunning and impressive in visitors' eyes. Because of its significance, the bridge is maintained periodically to retain its beauty and ensure its safety.
