2. Starfish Beach Phu Quoc (Rach Vem)

Starfish Beach (Rach Vem), located about 40 kilometers from downtown Phu Quoc, ranks among the best beaches in Phu Quoc for adventurers seeking unspoiled beauty. Known as the "Starfish Kingdom," this remote northern coastline delights visitors with hundreds of red starfish populating shallow waters and unique floating fish farms doubling as excellent seafood restaurants.

Accessible via sandy tracks off red-dirt roads traversing dense forest, the beach's isolation has prevented resort development. Coconut palms frame the shore where clear blue water invites exploration—conditions become increasingly pristine heading north. The highlight is savoring fresh seafood at waterfront restaurants while starfish drift in the shallows.

A breathtaking 10-minute boat ride from Rach Vem delivers you to this magical spot where Ganh Dau's hills and Cambodian islands are visible on the horizon.

Stretching 7 kilometers along Phu Quoc's southern tip, approximately 25 kilometers from downtown, the beach boasts the island's whitest, cleanest sand.

What sets Sao Beach apart is its calm, warm water displaying extraordinary shades of blue that intensify with depth. Rocky capes protruding into the sea complement soaring coconut groves, creating an unspoiled, wild ambiance. Activities range from kayaking, windsurfing, and snorkeling to fishing and motorcycle rides.
